This smiling bald and bearded guy is Patrick Rafter (our baritone/tenor). Not to be confused with Australian tennis hunk who holds his same name... our PR is the original article. A native of San Francisco, Patrick spent his childhood in Washington, D.C, North Africa and Rome where he learned to speak French and Italian before getting a degree in political science from Tufts University. Ironically politics has little to do with how he has spent the last 20+ years-- working in in high tech public relations and marketing in Boston, Washington D.C and Silicon Valley. A true "Pope of Punditry" he loves to promote cool new technologies and services and make them hot trends--- from desktop publishing to digital video, CD-ROM, to wireless networks, Patrick's actually had official titles like "Emperor of Enlightenment" and "Minister of Information". These days he runs his own consultancy (Rafter Communications/ DBA INTRASTAND). He's happiest when he gets to spend time with his family: gorgeous wife Sheila and three great kids!

Patrick's Musical Background:
Patrick cut his singing teeth performing in choral groups and as The Artful Dodger as back in his elementary school days. Later he was lead singer for Dungeon Ghyll, a High School rock band in Rome, Italy that did ersatz versions of tunes by bands like Santana, Yes, Jethro Tull, and other progressive rock bands from the music of his youth!
